Peso Pluma’s Tijuana Concert Canceled Following Cartel Threat

Peso Pluma’s deliberate October 14 live performance at Estadio Caliente in Tijuana has been canceled after the singer confronted dying threats from alleged members of the Jalisco New Era Cartel. “Our objective is to guard the followers and the staff,” an announcement from Peso Pluma’s labels Double P Data and Prajin Music Group posted to Instagram reads. “For the security of everybody concerned, we are going to cancel our present in Tijuana. Thanks a lot to all our followers for understanding. We love you.”

4 banners held on bridges throughout Tijuana particularly focused Peso Pluma and talked about the deliberate live performance. “This goes to Peso Pluma, chorus from presenting your self on October 14, as a result of it is going to be your final present resulting from your disrespect and free tongue, you present up and we’re going to (break you),” the banners reportedly learn.

Native authorities investigated the threats and municipal president of Tijuana, Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, informed journalists that he would think about canceling the live performance. A 43-year-old man in possession of one of many banners was arrested.  Peso Pluma not too long ago postponed a sequence of U.S. reveals.
