The musical expertise runs deep in Loretta Lynn’s household.

Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of the nation music legend, proved she’s obtained what it takes to be part of the household enterprise when she auditioned for season 22 of American Idol, which premiered Feb. 25.

The 24-year-old sang an unique music titled “Skinny” about her expertise with consuming issues, which earned her a golden ticket from judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan, who had been all shocked that smooth spoke Emmy was Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter.

“Your grandma is…what?!” Lionel requested, with Katy including an, “Oh wow.”
