Prince Harry was honored with a Dwelling Legends of Aviation medal by John Travolta on Friday – and the Grease actor referenced his well-known 1985 dance with Harry’s mom Princess Diana in his opening remarks. 

John as soon as famously danced with Harry’s mother Princess Diana on the White Home and later known as it one of many “highlights of my life,” and Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, who appeared on the Actual Housewives of Beverly Hills and was in attendance later spoke to HELLO! and different media about John’s speech, calling the second “very touching and candy”.

He stated: “John Travolta introduced the award and he referred to the dance with his mom Princess Diana, [when] Prince Harry was one-years-old so he’s like, ‘Now I see you once more beneath a brand new circumstance, on a brand new stage.’ That was very touching and really candy as a result of all of us bear in mind how attractive the dance was of John Travolta and Princess Diana, and now Princess Diana’s son is getting an award from John Travolta. 

“It was the cutest, most touching second and it is a second of historical past and I like it – it was stunning to look at.” 

The occasion, hosted by John, noticed Harry and Lauren Sanchez honored, alongside with 4 different inductees who’re being acknowledged for his or her contributions to aviation and aerospace. 

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke was in attendance to have a good time her good friend Lauren, and she or he known as the Prince’s speech “poetic”. 

“He talked about taking off and being up in God’s playground, up within the clouds, and he talked in regards to the style of magic [being up there,] it was poetic,” she shared.

Prince Harry, 39, made a solo look – regardless of rumors his spouse Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex can be becoming a member of him –  as he was inducted into the “Dwelling Legends of Aviation” for his work as a British Military veteran, skipping the crimson carpet, and sneaking into the Beverly Hilton lodge, in Beverly Hills, California, by way of the again doorways. 

The daddy-of-two wore a black velvet tuxedo, paired with a white shirt, and was placed on the spot by host John within the actor’s opening remarks, as he requested the viewers: “What are you able to bear in mind about your first flight?” The royal then quipped: “It is labeled,” to laughter from the room.
